One sleepless night in 2004 I found myself staring into the unflinching reality that I had just spent the last decade of my life at the bottom of a bottle. Lost in a deep hangover of fear and fair-weather friends, I began to realize that the foundation of my life was rooted in money, mixed drinks, and a deepening melancholy. I had no one to turn to and nothing to show for my 27 years save the midnight misgivings of a thousand selfish choices. It was at that moment that I asked God for help, and my life has never been the same.
Wherever you're hurting, whatever you're wrestling with, you don't have to walk through it alone. Jesus is real, he loves you, and he's waiting to hear from you right now.
My name is Justin Ulmer, and Sevenapples is my ministry in pictures devoted to displaying the truth and beauty of Jesus to the world.
